The Paco-Roxas-Arakan Valley which will directly connect North Cotabato and Davao City will be fully completed in 2017, reports from the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH)-12 showed.
Situated in Arakan town, Barangay Salangsan in South Cotabato, the project involves a Php195.7 -million major high-way funded from CY 2016 Infrastructure Program of the Department. It is also pre-included in the Mindanao Logistics –Northern Mindanao Circumferential Road of the Duterte Administration.
According to DPWH-12 Regional Director Reynaldo Tamayo, the road project will generate convenient transport of goods and services from the remote areas of North Cotabato Province since it will be the shortest route in to Davao.
From 2014 to 2015, DPWH completed three paved projects in the Paco-Roxas-Arakan Valley Road.
